About The Role
We will select among result-oriented, creative professionals, who are proactive and great team players with the necessary motivation, ambition, and energy to continuously investigate, learn and develop new knowledge that makes their work and products superior.
We are looking for one or two Master Thesis Students to work with us in the first half of 2022 on the topic of "EV charging analysis and charging profile simulations" and the aim is to perform an analyis and formulation on the state of electric vehicle charging and the various driver's charging habits in urban, suburban, and rural settings. Given these results, the goal of the thesis is to develop time-focused charging profiles and algorithms in a runnable simulation tool that will interact with the Eljun live charging management system.
We’re looking for people who want to improve, grow, and get better at their craft. It’s okay not to be perfect – but we should strive for it.
What we expect from you:
- Currently enrolled in University-level Computer Science or Energy Systems programs
- Familiar with simulations and Python programming language
- Bonus if familiar with Open Charging Point Protocol (OCPP)
